Program Offered
Mentoring 4 Kids is a free program serving people of all faiths which matches caring adults with children being raised by single parents/guardians.  The children have lost a caregiver and need a positive role model of the same gender in their lives.  Together, they build a one on one friendship while having fun a few hours each month.  Training and ongoing support are provided by professional staff to ensure a meaningful and rewarding experience.

Population Served
The children are between the ages of 6 – 15 years old and reside in Palm Beach County from Boynton Beach to Tequesta.

Mentor Responsibilities
Adult volunteers must be at least 25 years old, have transportation, complete a screening process and agree to attend orientation and training meetings.  The volunteers must enjoy spending time with a child participating in fun, mutually chosen activities.

Time Commitment
A mentor meets with their child 2 – 3 times each month for a minimum of one year.
